Dig Walkerville Keeps You Up To Date On Walkerville Construction!

WALKERVILLE IS GETTING A FACELIFT THIS SUMMER!

Construction has begun in the Walkerville Business District! Members of the Walkerville Business Improvement Area Lindsay Gammon (bump maternity + baby, poppy paperie & gifts) & Chris Ryan (Walkerville Brewery) have formed the Walkerville Communications Committee to provide a united voice for the more than 90 Walkerville businesses during construction. The committee hopes to create a positive message during what is normally a difficult time for a business community.

Collaboration and participation within the community is vital during construction. The moniker "DigWalkerville" was created by the committee to convey the message that, while Walkerville is under construction it is still a vibrant part of the city and open for business.

 

"DigWalkerville" will be used across social media to act as a conduit for keeping the public apprised of construction updates, special events, promotions and everything Walkerville. With the success of the Walkerville Night Market and the Art Walk & Rock, the committee is confident that taking the unique approach of being proactive and positive will set Walkerville apart from other areas of the city that have encountered construction in the past.
