Craft Show at WFCU Centre April 26 & 27, 2014

AMAZING TALENTS & GIFTS FOR MOTHER’S & FATHER’S DAY ON DISPLAY THIS WEEKEND AT C.C.’S EVENTS SPRING CRAFT SHOW
The Largest Handmade Craft Show in Windsor-Essex Comes to the WFCU Centre April 26  - 27

Local craft artisans have been working hard throughout the winter to put the best and most unique crafts and gift ideas on display this weekend at C.C.’s Events Spring Craft Show at the WFCU Centre. You can find the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or even something for yourself!

The largest handmade craft show in Windsor-Essex will take place from 10 am to 4 pm on April 26 and 27 in the leisure gym and Collavino Hall at the WFCU Centre. Admission to the event is free of charge but a donation to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society is greatly appreciated.

C.C.’s Events Craft Shows have been continually growing and adding new and exciting vendors from throughout Windsor-Essex and across the province making each event better than the last.
“Since CC's Events started a year and a half ago, we have continued to grow and improve. We started at 60 vendors in September 2012, and now we feature over 100 vendors with handmade items. During this journey, we have helped raise $5565+ for local charities,” sas Chelsey Carr, owner of C.C.’s Events.

Parents can bring their children and enjoy the Spring Craft show as a family! Like all C.C.’s Events, the Spring Craft Show will have something for everyone, including a newly added kids zone including an activity zone provided by High Jinks Playcare and Imaginarium, and face painting by Always Handpainted.

For the full list of vendors that will be present at the Spring Craft Show, visit wfcu-centre.com or C.C.’s Events on Facebook.

Bring Your E-Waste to Caesars Windsor April 22 & April 23, 2014

In honour of Earth Week, Caesars Windsor in cooperation with Recycling Makes Cents is offering a convenient, free E-Waste Collection public drop off site.
The public is invited to drop off their unwanted electronics, big or small, in the gated parking lot located at 250 Windsor Ave., across from the Colosseum from 9 am – 7 pm on Tuesday, April 22 and 9 am to 3 pm on Wednesday, April 23. Vehicles can drive through, entering through the Chatham Street gate, just west of McDougall Ave. Walk-ups are also welcome.

Large bins, provided by Recycling Makes Cents, a local community and industrial recycling centre, will accommodate any size electronic device including amplifiers, cameras, cell phones, computers, monitors, speakers, scanners, printers, tuners, televisions and more. These electronics will be recycled and diverted from landfills.

According to recycleyourelectronics.ca, operated by Ontario Electronic Stewardship, it’s important to recycle your electronics because 90% of e-waste’s component parts can be refurbished and reused, containing some of the most valuable elements mined and refined today including copper.
Thank you Caesars Windsor for helping to make our region a better place to live now and for the future!
